Shizuka + [small update]

_{So my 'style' has changed quite a bit in terms of colouring. Here's some context for it and my inactivity I guess; I stopped drawing for awhile because it became a chore (also uni hah). I really didn't enjoy what I was doing but also became stuck in a 'routine' to colour the way I always have (I guess because I value consistency, especially on here). But forcing myself to do something I didn't enjoy anymore just ate any kind of motivation. It felt stagnant. I still doodled here and there in notebooks though and somehow that and a drawing friend rekindled an interest for digital once more. I decided to try and take digital up again and tried new things and didn't focus on trying to perfect lineart so much (I haaate lineart ( ). I found I enjoyed this messier, more free style. It became fun again so I hope to continue posting more than once a month. I might post some sketchy notebook doodles too and uni work although it feels a little strange to post unfinished things on devArt;;
